Ithaca Hash #527: Champagne in my Ass

Merry Hashmas, O beloved Itha-hedonists!

As the last strains of Handel’s “The Messiah” fade into the morning stillness, I pause and remember all of you wonderful folk, who no doubt have already forgotten this week’s festivities, and are looking forward to next Sunday. No doubt you’ve made out well with your spoils from Festivus, and are warming up in preparation for another exciting week. Fortunately, your hares have been making preparation as well.

Your intrepid hares, Liquor Harder and Master Baster, cordially invite you to a delightful trail in the wilds of Hammond Hill State Forest, this coming Sunday at 2pm. As this year has seen a great many milestones – unions, PhD defenses, namings, departures – we will eat, drink, and be merry at the conclusion of trail, reflecting on what joy this year has brought.

To find trail: from Ithaca, head east on Route 13. Pass Yellow Barn Hill Road and turn south on Irish Settlement Road. Turn left (E) on Hammond Hill Road. Follow it to the end.

Yours in great beer, shiggy, food, champagne, sex, and beer,

~Master Baster
