A Drinking Club with a Running Problem
UFO and Bedside Pole Dancer’s Winter Hash! If you haven’t been to one you don’t know what you’re missing. There have been several great naming at this hash as well, Burpenstain and Always a Brides Maid just to name a few.
Start: Burdick Pond in the Finger Lakes National Forest. Take Route 96 North through Trumansburg; go past Floss’s house and past the T-burg Fire Dept. Make a left onto West Seneca Road and go straight (I mean gaily forward) for 3.4 miles; you will travel through one stop sign. Make a right onto Burdick Road, go short distance and look for HHH.
This is a Football Hash Theme (since it is Super Bowl Sunday). Wear your favorite football attire or Blue & White (Colts) or Black & Gold (Saints). There will be football follies on trail with prizes at the end.
DOGS: This is a very dog friendly trail… BUT… the end is near our house and we have free range chickens and ducks in the yard and woods near the house. SO…. If you are not 100% sure your dog not chase or worse eat the birds please leave them home. OR we will have a special hash sign that indicates dogs on leash so you can keep them close.
Kids Hash Trail: We are also willing to set a kids hash trail for those of you who have young ones and want them to experience a trail they can run. It would include one JN (juice near) and will end at our house where they can stay nice and warm after the run. Party: And what’s a Hash without a party. All are invited to hang at UFO and Bedside’s house to watch the Super Bowl. Including Beer, a big HD TV, Beer, pool table, Beer, hot tub, Food (for veggie and meat eaters), did I mention Beer, and other snacks.
