A Drinking Club with a Running Problem
To the shiggy-strewn misfits of the Ithaca Hash House Harriers,
This Sunday is a hashing day! This particular trail will be joyous and tear-filled, as we revel in the summer sun, and hash one last time with Bürpenstain and Hump Me Dump Me (or for at least the foreseeable future). We’ll miss these wankers, so all of you should make your best effort to make it to the hash and see them off – I know Pong and I will do our best for a bang-up job!
The location will be Jenksville State Forest, in Newark Valley, just SW of Richford. To get there, check the Google Map, and/or read directions:
(from Ithaca, Rochester, and pts West):
Take 79 East, until you approach Caroline
Turn right onto Boiceville Rd, go 0.6mi
Turn left at Central Chapel Rd, go 1.2mi
Turn left at Old 76 Rd, go 7.6mi
Continue on West Creek Rd, go 2.3mi
Turn left at Allison Hill Rd, go a couple miles,
pull into the large dirty parking area on the left
and look for hashers.

Find your way to Route 38, and take that
North or South to Newark Valley (just South
of Richford)
Turn Westward onto Tappan Rd,
Followed by a right onto Howard Hill Rd
Take the second right, onto Allison Hill Rd
And look for the parking area on the right.
